Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced IT Application Project Manager to lead the planning, execution, and successful delivery of banking application projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing end-to-end project delivery, coordinating cross-functional teams, ensuring compliance with banking standards, and delivering technology solutions that align with business objectives.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience managing application development, system integration, digital transformation, and regulatory initiatives within the banking or financial services industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of banking application projects from initiation through closure.
• Define project scope, objectives, timelines, deliverables, budgets, and resource requirements.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, schedules, and project documentation.
• Coordinate with Business Analysts, Solution Architects, Developers, QA/Test Managers, Infrastructure Teams, Vendors, and Business Users.
• Manage project budgets, forecasts, financial tracking, and resource allocation.
• Monitor project progress and ensure delivery within agreed scope, schedule, cost, and quality objectives.
• Identify, assess, and manage project risks, issues, assumptions, dependencies (RAID), and change requests.
• Ensure compliance with the Bank's SDLC, governance framework, security standards, audit requirements, and regulatory guidelines.
• Manage vendor performance, contractual deliverables, and third-party dependencies.
• Prepare executive project status reports, dashboards, and steering committee presentations.
• Facilitate project governance meetings, project reviews, and stakeholder communications.
• Support application deployment planning, production implementation, and post-production stabilization.
• Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), defect management, and production readiness activities.
• Ensure proper project documentation, knowledge transfer, and project closure.
• Drive continuous improvement in project delivery processes and governance practices.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Business Information Systems, or a related field.
• Minimum 5–10 years of experience in IT Project Management.
• At least 3 years of experience managing application development or system implementation projects within the banking or financial services industry.
• Proven experience delivering multiple enterprise application projects simultaneously.
• Strong knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid project methodologies.
• Experience managing project budgets, timelines, vendors, risks, and stakeholders.
• Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
