Role Description

• Assist in managing and monitoring sandbox, testing, staging, and production environments for cloud infrastructure services on AliCloud and AWS.
• Support in the development and maintenance of CI/CD pipeline automation, containerization with Docker, Jenkins, and Kubernetes .
• Help with managing basic network and cloud operations such as domains, VPN, load balancing, DNS, and supporting in-house applications.
• Monitor network traffic, escalate suspicious activities, and assist in quick response to unexpected issues.
• Support troubleshooting of potential network or database security vulnerabilities and incidents, and assist in implementing basic security measures based on reports.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to support application deployments and patch releases.
• Maintain documentation of system processes, procedures, configurations, and deployment architectures.
• Track and provide support for DevOps-related tasks, ensuring timely follow-up and resolution under supervision.
• Learn and apply concepts of network topology/logic to support the implementation of security solutions.
• Gain hands-on experience with code scanning tools (e.g., Sonarqube, Dependabot, ZAP) under guidance.
• Learn to use application logging and monitoring tools such as ELK, Kibana, and Grafana.
• Communicate effectively with peers and management, and contribute to a collaborative team environment.
• Demonstrate a proactive attitude and willingness to learn, with the ability to work on assigned tasks independently when required.

Requirement:

• Bachelor Degree or equivalent in Computer Science / Information Technology
• Malaysian/ Local/ Citizenship
• Basic knowledge of cloud platforms (AliCloud, AWS, or similar).
• Familiarity with CI/CD, Docker, and Kubernetes concepts (academic or internship exposure acceptable).
• Understanding of networking fundamentals (DNS, VPN, firewalls, load balancing).
• Interest in cybersecurity and willingness to learn intrusion detection, vulnerability management, and prevention tools.
• Strong problem-solving mindset and eagerness to pick up new technologies.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Certified in Alibaba Cloud
