Your impact

The Electrical Revit Modeler is a BIM professional responsible for developing, coordinating, and maintaining electrical BIM models for data center and other building projects. The role requires a solid understanding of electrical building services, BIM processes, and multidisciplinary coordination. The modeler works independently on assigned tasks while supporting project teams in delivering high-quality and coordinated BIM models.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed Revit models for electrical systems, including power distribution, cable containment, lighting, earthing, and low-voltage services.
• Produce BIM deliverables in accordance with project requirements, BIM Execution Plans (BEP), and company standards.
• Populate models with the required parameters and information to support design coordination and project documentation.
• Prepare drawings, schedules, and model exports for design reviews and project submissions.
• Update models based on engineering mark-ups, design changes, and coordination feedback.
• Coordinate assigned modelling tasks with architectural, structural, mechanical, and ICT disciplines.
• Participate in clash detection and model coordination activities using approved project tools.
• Assist in resolving routine clashes and modelling issues under the guidance of senior team members.
• Support project teams during design development and construction phases as required.
  
  
  

Here's what you'll need

• Certificate orDiploma in Electrical Engineering, Building Services, Drafting, or a related discipline.
• Typically 4–7 years of experience in Electrical BIM Modelling.
• Proficient in Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD.
• Good understanding of electrical building services systems and engineering drawings.
• Ability to interpret electrical schematics and design documentation.
  
  
  

Desired Experience & Skills

• Experience working on data center, industrial, commercial, or mission-critical projects.
• Familiarity with BIM coordination processes and Common Data Environments (CDE).
• Working knowledge of Navisworks or similar model coordination software.
• Understanding of local and international electrical standards and drafting practices.
• Strong attention to detail, communication, and teamwork skills.
