About the Role

BIMora Sdn Bhd is looking for a passionate, self-motivated and solution-driven Full-stack / AI Product Engineer to build and enhance real business systems, while helping develop practical AI-enabled products and intelligent digital solutions.

This is a hands-on engineering role for someone who is strong in full-stack development and willing to work on real software systems, including system enhancement, debugging, API development, database management, system integration, deployment support and stabilisation.

The candidate will be involved in developing, maintaining and improving business applications, digital platforms and product features, while also exploring and applying AI technologies such as machine learning, large language models, automation and intelligent software capabilities to create smarter and more valuable solutions.

This role is suitable for someone who wants to grow beyond traditional software development and be part of building practical AI-enabled solutions for real business and industry use cases.

We are not looking for a pure AI researcher. We are looking for a practical full-stack engineer who can solve real system problems, while also having strong interest and motivation to develop AI-powered tools and intelligent product features.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and enhance web-based applications and business systems.
• Work across frontend, backend, API, database and deployment-related tasks.
• Review, understand and improve existing codebases.
• Debug system issues, database issues, integration issues and production problems.
• Build dashboards, reports, workflows, modules and internal tools.
• Support client system continuation, stabilisation, testing and deployment.
• Develop Python scripts, automation tools and AI-assisted features.
• Integrate AI APIs, LLM tools and automation workflows into applications.
• Support practical AI features such as document processing, data extraction, search, summarisation, workflow automation and intelligent recommendations.
• Assist with basic cloud hosting, server setup, deployment and environment configuration.
• Check application logs, server logs, database issues and deployment errors.
• Use Git and proper version control workflow.
• Review and validate AI-assisted or AI-generated code before implementation.
• Prepare basic technical notes, release notes and implementation documentation.
• Work closely with directors and internal team members to turn business needs into usable product features.

Core Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of full-stack development experience.
• Experience with frontend frameworks such as React, Vue, Angular or similar.
• Experience with backend technologies such as .NET / C#, Node.js, Python or similar.
• Good understanding of API development and system integration.
• Good SQL database knowledge, such as MS SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL or equivalent.
• Able to debug, maintain and enhance existing systems.
• Familiar with Git, branching, pull requests and code review workflow.
• Basic understanding of cloud hosting, server environment, deployment or system configuration.
• Interested in AI tools, automation and practical AI product development.
• Able to work independently and handle multiple priorities.
• Able to communicate technical issues clearly.
• Willing to learn new technologies quickly.

AI / Python Exposure

The candidate should be comfortable with or interested in:

• Python scripting and backend automation.
• AI API integration.
• LLM-based application development.
• AI-assisted search, summarisation and recommendation features.
• Document processing and data extraction.
• Workflow automation.
• Chatbot or assistant-style applications.
• Prompt/API workflow testing and validation.
• Using AI coding tools such as ChatGPT, Codex, Claude, GitHub Copilot or similar.

Experience with the following will be an added advantage:

• LLM APIs
• RAG
• vector databases
• embeddings
• OCR / document intelligence
• FastAPI / Flask
• automation pipelines
• AI agent workflows

Basic DevOps / Hosting Exposure

The candidate does not need to be a full DevOps engineer, but should have basic exposure to:

• Cloud hosting such as AWS, Azure, DigitalOcean or similar.
• Windows Server / IIS or Linux server environment.
• Application deployment and environment configuration.
• Domain, DNS and SSL coordination.
• Database backup and restore awareness.
• Application logs and server logs checking.
• Basic monitoring and troubleshooting.
• Docker or CI/CD exposure will be an advantage.

Good to Have

• Experience with ASP.NET / .NET Core / C#.
• Experience with React / TypeScript.
• Experience with Python for backend, automation or AI tools.
• Experience maintaining or taking over existing systems.
• Experience with business systems, dashboards, reporting tools or workflow platforms.
• Experience with cloud hosting, IIS, Windows Server or deployment pipelines.
• Experience integrating third-party systems or external APIs.
• Ability to guide junior/internal engineers or review technical work.
• Experience in construction, engineering, finance, project management or document-heavy business systems will be an advantage.
