MK Sustainable Scrap Sdn Bhd is a licensed e-waste collection centre approved by the Department of Environment (DOE) Malaysia, committed to responsible electronic waste management and environmental sustainability.

We collect, sort, and manage various types of electronic waste from households, commercial clients, and industrial sectors.

Position Overview

We are looking for local Malaysian candidates to join our operations team as General Workers.

This role involves physical handling, collection, sorting, and segregation of electronic waste (e-waste) in compliance with environmental and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Collection & Loading

• Assist in loading and unloading e-waste items from lorries and customer premises.
• Handle items such as:
• Desktop computers
• Laptops
• Servers
• Printers
• Monitors
• Networking equipment
• Cables and electronic accessories
• Ensure proper stacking and safe storage inside the factory.

Segregation & Sorting

• Separate e-waste into categories:
• Metal components
• Plastics
• Cables
• Identify reusable vs non-reusable items.
• Ensure materials are sorted according to DOE compliance requirements.

Dismantling Work

• Perform basic dismantling of electronic items using simple tools.
• Remove valuable components such as copper, aluminium, PCB boards.
• Follow proper dismantling procedures to prevent contamination.

Housekeeping & Safety

• Maintain cleanliness of work area.
• Follow safety procedures and wear PPE (gloves, safety shoes, etc.).
• Assist in inventory counting when required.
• Support supervisor during stock checking and internal audit.

Team Support

• Work closely with logistics coordinator and yard supervisor.
• Assist during bulk collection or urgent orders.
• Perform any other operational duties assigned by management.

Job Requirements

• Malaysian citizen (Local only)
• Physically fit and able to lift heavy items
• Able to work in factory / warehouse environment
• Responsible, disciplined and punctual
• Able to follow instructions
• Basic reading and counting skills
• Experience in scrap yard / warehouse / recycling industry is an advantage

Salary & Benefits

• Basic Salary: RM1,800 per month
• EPF Contribution
• SOCSO Contribution
• Annual Leave (as per Malaysian Employment Act)
• Overtime (if applicable, based on company policy)
• Uniform / PPE provided

Working Hours

• Monday – Friday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Saturday: Half Day (if required)
• Sunday: Off
