Job Purpose
To provide support for the IT infrastructure, provisioning, planning, installation, operation, and software including facilities management.
Job Duties
- Understanding and respecting the differing needs of Sunfert staff and their IT/process support needs.
- Providing rapid and effective first level response to challenges and problems with IT/communications systems.
- Supports the deployment, monitoring, maintenance, upgrade, and support of all Sunfert systems, including servers, databases, storage solutions, communication systems, network devices, operating systems, hardware, software, and peripherals.
- Ensures continuous, cost-effective delivery of technology services and supports improvements that will improve services and capitalize on ways in which technology tools and automation can contribute to cost effectiveness and improved productivity.
- Monitors the performance of systems using the metrics and other standards and requirements and expectations, such as a customer service orientation and established service level agreements.
- On regular and incidental bases, reviews and assesses service.
- Supports the IT Manager in reporting infrastructure, optimising analytic processes, and driving system enhancements.
- Reviews and assesses the technical condition of the overall system, as well as critical subsystems and key components.
- Identifies any maintenance or repair practices or procedures that potentially compromise or degrade subsystems.
- Reviews any modifications, redesign, and/or replacement of system components.
- Monitors backups, records and maintains Licensing and Warranty Agreements.
- Maintains absolute confidentiality and security of all data.
- Supports the Operations & Facilities Manager to ensure the maintenance, security, safety, housekeeping, and other works for the general upkeep of the premise.
- To participate and contribute to the marketing and expansion activities of Sunfert Group as the need arises.
- Support and perform any other duties or tasks as assigned by immediate supervisor or management
Job Requirements
Candidate must possess at least a Diploma or Bachelor in computer science, information technology, IT management, business admin or related field.
- Minimum three (3) years working experience in a computer field, Information Technology Project Management, computer programming and business administration and operations would be an added advantage
- Strong command of spoken and written English.
- Experience with Active Directory
- Familiar with Windows Server 2012 R2 and above
- Experience with Exchange 2013 and above
- A good working knowledge of SQL
- A good working knowledge of networking and firewall security
- Experience with Windows 7 and above
- Experience with deployment and maintenance of Remote Desktop Services and Published Apps
- Experience with MS Office (including 365 Apps)
- Facilities management in a healthcare setting will be advantageous
