Responsibilities

Role Overview

We are seeking a seasoned and dependable Part-Time Project Manager to supervise renovation works across several shophouse properties in Singapore.

The role focuses on on-site coordination, contractor supervision, progress monitoring, and ensuring that renovation works are completed properly and on schedule. Commercial matters such as contractor appointment, quotation review, and invoice approval will generally be handled by the Property Owner.

This permanent, long-term position would suit an experienced professional seeking flexible part-time work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise renovation and improvement works at shophouse properties.
  • Coordinate contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and other parties on-site.
  • Monitor project schedules and follow up on outstanding works.
  • Ensure work is carried out according to the owner’s requirements and agreed specifications.
  • Monitor workmanship and identify defects, delays, or site issues.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and provide progress updates to the Property Owner.
  • Coordinate access, deliveries, work sequencing, and day-to-day site activities.
  • Resolve practical site issues with contractors and escalate significant matters to the Property Owner.
  • Ensure contractors maintain safe, tidy, and properly managed work sites.
  • Verify that defects and incomplete works are rectified before project handover.
  • Manage several ongoing projects according to their respective requirements.

Requirements

  • Strong practical experience managing renovations, construction works, property maintenance, or similar projects.
  • Good understanding of renovation processes, materials, workmanship, and site coordination.
  • Proven ability to supervise contractors and keep projects moving.
  • Able to identify defects and practical construction issues.
  • Responsible, organised, hands-on, and comfortable working independently.
  • Clear communication and good problem-solving skills.
  • Able and willing to travel between project sites in Singapore.
  • Familiarity with shophouse properties would be an advantage.
  • Formal qualifications are welcome but not essential; relevant practical experience is more important.

Working Arrangement

Working hours will be flexible and depend on the number and stage of active projects. Regular on-site attendance will be required, particularly during key stages of renovation.

Application

Interested candidates should submit a brief résumé outlining their relevant renovation, construction, property, or contractor-management experience, together with their availability and expected remuneration.

Pay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour

Benefits:

  • Flexible schedule
