Job Summary

You will prepare and review ACMV system designs, coordinate with interior designers and subcontractors, and ensure compliance with codes to deliver efficient, high-quality projects aligned with design intent and operational goals.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed ACMV drawings, schematics, and specifications including ducting, piping, and equipment layout to support project requirements
• Align ACMV designs with interior design concepts by coordinating ceiling layouts and diffuser placements to maintain aesthetics
• Collaborate closely with interior designers to integrate ACMV systems without compromising visual appeal
• Review and amend shop drawings based on site conditions while ensuring compliance with design intent and quality standards
• Ensure all ACMV designs comply with local building codes, safety standards, and regulatory requirements
• Plan and coordinate resources, subcontractors, and project teams to achieve timely and efficient project delivery
• Develop operational strategies to enhance project efficiency and competitiveness in the market
• Review tender documents, drawings, and briefs to accurately define project scope and requirements
• Prepare presentation slides of ACMV designs for tender submissions to support business development
• Manage subcontractors and teams to ensure quality execution and adherence to project timelines
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management or immediate superior to support project success

Required competencies and certifications

• Diploma or higher qualification in Engineering or a related field
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in ACMV system design or similar role
• Strong knowledge of ACMV system design for office environments
• Proficient in drafting AC designs using AutoCAD application
• Ability to perform cooling load calculations and equipment sizing accurately
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel
• Strong organizational skills to prioritize tasks and perform effectively under pressure
• Self-motivated and proactive with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
