Role Description The Junior Software Business Analyst role is a full-time position based in Petaling Jaya with a hybrid work arrangement, allowing some work-from-home flexibility. The role involves gathering and documenting business requirements, analyzing existing business processes, and helping translate business needs into functional specifications for software solutions. Day-to-day tasks include working with stakeholders to understand objectives, preparing reports and process documentation, supporting testing and validation of features, and assisting in improvements to workflows and systems. The Junior Software Business Analyst will collaborate with developers, project managers, and other team members to ensure that solutions are aligned with business goals and delivered effectively.

Qualifications

• Strong Analytical Skills and ability to interpret data, processes, and business needs.
• Foundational Business Analysis and Business Requirements skills to document and clarify user and system needs.
• Experience handling Mobile App projects as BA is an advantage.
• Familiar with common AI Tools for assisted work flow and governance is a MUST.
• Understanding of Business Process concepts and interest in mapping and improving workflows.
• Effective Communication skills, including the ability to engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Relevant academic background in Information Technology, Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Basic familiarity with software development lifecycle and requirements documentation tools is an advantage.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks with guidance.
• Willingness to learn, collaborate in a team environment, and adapt to changing project needs.
