Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Security Officer, based in WP. Kuala Lumpur. The Security Officer will be responsible for monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, ensuring the safety of people, property, and assets. Duties include responding to incidents, enforcing safety regulations, maintaining logs and reports, and collaborating with colleagues and stakeholders to prevent security breaches. The Security Officer will also be expected to use security equipment and systems effectively to fulfill their role.

Qualifications

• Proficient in patrolling, monitoring, and incident response in a security-focused environment
• Strong observational skills and attention to detail to identify potential security risks
• Ability to operate and maintain technological security equipment and systems
• Good communication and interpersonal skills for handling diverse situations and engaging effectively with colleagues and clients
• Physical fitness and ability to handle emergency situations effectively
• Knowledge of safety regulations and situational awareness principles
• Experience in the security industry or related field is preferred
• Basic First Aid or safety certification is an advantage
• Integrity, reliability, and a strong commitment to ensuring safety
