Responsibilities

Hiring: Software Engineer (Java)
Location: Cyberjaya, Malaysia (Onsite)
Employment Type: 6 months contract (Renewable)
Experience Level: 5+ Years
Company Industry: Logistics Industry
Notice Period: Immediate Joiners or 1 Month Notice

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Software Engineer with strong Java backend development skills and experience in building scalable enterprise applications. The ideal candidate should have expertise in Java, containerization, backend development, and modern application architectures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain Java backend applications.
  • Develop and support multi-threading applications with strong performance and reliability.
  • Troubleshoot Java applications, JVM issues, exceptions, and production defects.
  • Build and integrate REST/SOAP web services and microservices solutions.
  • Collaborate with frontend teams using Angular and other technologies.
  • Perform unit testing using JUnit and ensure code quality.
  • Manage source code using Git/SVN and support CI/CD processes.
  • Prepare technical documentation and solution specifications.

Required Skills

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Java development.
  • Strong Core Java and Spring Web Services experience.
  • Experience with Java backend application design and development.
  • Knowledge of Angular UI development.
  • Experience with Node.js, Python, .NET, or similar backend technologies.
  • Experience with SQL databases (Oracle/PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB).
  • Strong understanding of REST APIs and microservices architecture.
  • Experience with Git/SVN version control.
  • Experience with containerization technologies.
  • Experience with OpenShift or cloud platforms.
  • Experience with SonarQube or software quality tools.
  • Experience in Java/Spring SOAP and REST service development.

Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM8,000.00 per month
