Role Description The Service Technician role at MYSES Sdn Bhd is a full-time, on-site position based in Malacca, Malaysia. The Service Technician will perform routine and preventive maintenance on semiconductor equipment and associated systems, ensuring stable and reliable operation. This role includes diagnosing and troubleshooting technical issues, conducting repairs and replacements, and supporting field service activities at customer sites as needed. The Service Technician will document service activities, prepare reports, and collaborate with engineering and operations teams to improve equipment performance and uptime. The individual will also provide professional customer service, guiding users on proper equipment operation and safety procedures while adhering to company and industry standards.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Maintenance & Repair and Maintenance skills for semiconductor equipment and related systems.
- Candidates should possess solid Troubleshooting skills to identify, analyze, and resolve mechanical, electrical, and control-related issues.
- Candidates should possess Field Service experience, including on-site equipment installation, commissioning, and technical support.
- Candidates should possess effective Customer Service skills for clear communication, issue resolution, and relationship building with clients.
- Diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or related engineering field is preferred.
- Ability to read technical drawings, service manuals, and schematics; basic knowledge of automation or control systems is an advantage.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work safely in a cleanroom or industrial environment.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, travel to customer sites when required, and collaborate in a diverse, cross-functional team.
