About The Job

The Strategy Manager sits within the CEO Office and will be a key driver in developing growth and expansion initiatives for RPG. This role works closely with the Chief of Staff and cross-functional team leads to help shape group direction, oversee special projects, and drive alignment across the leadership team. The ideal candidate should be ready to roll up their sleeves to take on a wide range of challenges including strategy formulation, operational implementation, business development and people management, and must be able to simplify strategy into execution clarity.


What you'll do:

1. Shaping Group Strategy

  • Support the development of group strategy, direction, and long-term roadmaps in collaboration with leadership.
  • Drive OKR setting and monitoring across departments, and lead strategic discussions with team leads on growth and improvement opportunities.


2. Corporate Development

  • Identify and evaluate new growth opportunities, including brand incubation, market expansion, and M&A activities.
  • Support the company's fundraising and capital-readiness initiatives.


3. Stakeholder & Special Projects

  • Oversee and drive multiple special projects and initiatives simultaneously, managing timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Manage key stakeholder relationships as needed (e.g., partners, investors, cross-functional leads).


4. BU Advisory

  • Serve as strategic thought partner and advisor to business unit and department leaders, delivering data-driven business cases and analysis.
  • Collaborate with operations and other teams to implement new processes and systems that improve business performance.


5. People

  • Collaborate on team recruitment and development in partnership with the Chief of Staff.
  • Foster cross-team collaboration and alignment across departments.


What You Need To Have

  • At least 5 years of experience in managing complex organization's operations and strategies, preferably in an e-commerce or a high performance environment (consulting, start-ups, etc) with experience in leading and managing a team.
  • Willing to be hands on as needed and proactively assume responsibilities and ownership, including the ability to project manage multiple tasks or experiments.
  • Structured thought process and a strong analytical ability.
  • Effective communication skills in writing, presentation, negotiation and influencing.
  • A reputation and track record of being energetic, innovative, enthusiastic, and agile.
  • Excellent collaborator with adaptable style and strong diplomatic and influencing skills.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity, hands-on; willingness and ability to act as a change agent and offer opinions and judgments.
  • Self-directed, execution-focused, and incredibly well-organized with a proven ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience setting and driving OKRs, with a data-driven approach to decision making.
  • Exposure to fundraising, M&A, or corporate development activities is an advantage.
  • Background in retail or consumer goods industry is an advantage
