Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Power BI Developer with 6+ years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and deploying business intelligence solutions. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Power BI, DAX, Power Query, SQL, and data modeling. Experience with Azure Databricks, Azure data platforms, and data architecture will be an added advantage.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards, reports, and visualizations
  • Gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into reporting solutions
  • Connect and integrate data from multiple sources such as SQL Server, Azure, APIs, Excel, and cloud platforms
  • Develop and optimize data models using star/snowflake schema methodologies
  • Create complex DAX measures, calculated columns, and KPIs
  • Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) using Power Query
  • Ensure report performance optimization, scalability, and data accuracy
  • Implement Row-Level Security (RLS) and data governance controls
  • Manage datasets, scheduled refreshes, and deployments in Power BI Service
  • Collaborate with business users, data engineers, and stakeholders to provide actionable insights
  • Troubleshoot reporting and data issues and provide timely resolutions


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Data Analytics, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
  • 6+ years of experience in Power BI development and reporting
  • Strong expertise in Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, DAX, and Power Query
  • Hands-on experience with SQL and relational databases
  • Strong understanding of data modeling and data warehousing concepts
  • Experience in dashboard performance tuning and optimization
  • Knowledge of ETL processes and data transformation techniques.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Experience with Azure Databricks and Azure Data Services.
  • Understanding of data architecture and cloud-based analytics solutions.
  • Experience working with large enterprise datasets.
  • Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies
