About the Role
Innovative University College (IUC) is seeking a passionate and creative Instructional Designer to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and enhancing engaging learning experiences that support quality teaching and learning initiatives, particularly in digital and blended learning environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop engaging learning materials, including lesson plans, assessments, interactive activities, and learner resources.
- Collaborate with academic staff and subject matter experts to create high-quality online and blended learning experiences.
- Apply instructional design principles and frameworks (e.g., ADDIE, constructive alignment) in course development.
- Develop and maintain e-learning content on Learning Management Systems (LMS), particularly Moodle.
- Recommend and integrate suitable educational technologies and digital learning tools to enhance student engagement.
- Review and improve existing learning materials to ensure quality, accessibility, and effective learner experiences.
- Provide support and guidance to academic staff on instructional design and digital learning best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, Multimedia, or a related field.
- Experience in instructional design, e-learning development, curriculum design, or educational technology is an added advantage.
- Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS), particularly Moodle, and digital learning tools.
- Knowledge of instructional design models and frameworks such as ADDIE and constructive alignment.
- Excellent communication, creativity, and problem-solving skills.
- Self-motivated, committed, and able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
