About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Unity 3D Engineer to lead the design and development of advanced 3D visualization platforms. This role focuses on building interactive digital twin solutions that integrate real-time IoT/OT data into immersive environments, enabling operational insights and decision-making across complex systems.
You will play a critical role in shaping system architecture, optimizing visualization performance, and collaborating across multidisciplinary teams to deliver scalable and high-impact solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop interactive 3D visualization interfaces using Unity, including real-time digital twin dashboards
Architect geospatial rendering solutions by integrating map layers, coordinate systems, and spatial data
Integrate Unity frontends with backend systems, middleware, and real-time data pipelines via APIs (REST/WebSocket)
Collaborate with engineering teams to translate IoT/OT telemetry and sensor data into dynamic 3D visualizations
Optimize rendering performance through LOD strategies, shader design, and efficient scene management
Develop reusable UI components aligned with UX standards and design systems
Establish and enforce frontend engineering standards, coding practices, and code review processes
Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, including build automation, testing, and deployment workflows
Utilize AI-driven tools to accelerate development, testing, and validation processes
Required Qualifications
At least 5 years of software engineering experience, including 3+ years in Unity 3D development
Strong proficiency in C# and Unity engine architecture
Experience building real-time 3D or digital twin applications in production environments
Hands-on experience integrating IoT/OT sensor data into visualization platforms
Solid understanding of system integration and full-stack architecture considerations
Proven ability to lead technical initiatives, perform code reviews, and manage delivery risks
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with geospatial platforms such as Mapbox, ArcGIS, or QGIS
Familiarity with robotics middleware (ROS/ROS2) or OT protocols (e.g., OPC-UA, MQTT, MODBUS)
Exposure to AI/ML integration in Unity (e.g., ONNX Runtime, Barracuda)
Knowledge of BIM formats (e.g., IFC, Revit) and digital twin environments
Experience deploying applications in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
