Role Description This full-time Unit Trust Advisor role is based in Kuala Terengganu and follows a hybrid work arrangement, combining on-site responsibilities with some work-from-home flexibility. The Unit Trust Advisor will support clients by assessing their financial goals, risk tolerance, and investment timelines, and by recommending suitable unit trust and related investment products. Daily tasks include meeting and communicating with clients, preparing and reviewing financial and retirement plans, and monitoring portfolios to suggest rebalancing or adjustments when needed. The role involves staying current on market trends, product updates, and regulatory requirements, as well as collaborating with internal teams to deliver accurate information and quality service. The Unit Trust Advisor will also participate in client outreach, seminars, and sales activities to grow and maintain a strong client base while adhering to ethical and compliance standards.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Financial Planning and Retirement Planning skills to assess client needs and design appropriate long-term strategies.
- Candidates should possess solid knowledge in Finance and Investments to analyze markets, interpret product information, and construct diversified portfolios.
- Candidates should possess Financial Advisory skills to communicate complex concepts clearly, provide suitable recommendations, and build trusted client relationships.
- Relevant academic background in finance, economics, business, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., licensed unit trust consultant or equivalent) are an advantage.
- Proficiency in client communication, presentation, and relationship management; ability to work with digital tools and reporting systems.
- Strong ethical judgment, attention to detail, and adherence to regulatory and company compliance standards.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, manage time independently, and collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders.
