Role Description The Associate Instructor is a freelance on-site role based in Singapore. This position involves delivering AI-related courses and workshops, facilitating interactive learning sessions, and supporting curriculum implementation across professional and academic programs. The Associate Instructor will assist in designing and updating teaching materials, preparing lesson plans, and adapting content to different learner profiles and industry needs. Responsibilities include teaching in classroom settings, providing learner guidance and feedback, assessing learner performance, and collaborating with senior instructors and curriculum designers to maintain high instructional quality. The role also includes contributing to educational events, supporting partnerships with universities and organizations, and staying current with AI trends to keep course content relevant.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in artificial intelligence, data science, or related fields, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly to diverse audiences.
• Experience in teaching, training, or facilitation, preferably in higher education, professional development, or technical bootcamps.
• Effective communication and presentation skills, including the ability to engage learners and encourage active participation.
• Curriculum development or instructional design experience, including preparing lesson plans, learning materials, and assessments.
• Comfort working with industry-relevant AI tools, programming languages (e.g., Python), and machine learning frameworks is an advantage.
• Collaborative mindset with the ability to work closely with academic partners, senior instructors, and cross-functional teams.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple classes, learner support requests, and preparation tasks.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, Engineering, Education, or a related discipline; relevant certifications in AI or machine learning are a plus.
• Commitment to inclusive, learner-centered teaching and a passion for helping professionals and students apply AI in real-world contexts.
