Panas Express is one of Malaysia's fastest-growing 24-hour unmanned convenience store chains, expanding into hospitals, universities, office buildings, residential developments, transport hubs, factories, hotels, and commercial properties across Malaysia.
As we continue to grow, we are looking for a proactive, organized, and detail-oriented Purchasing Assistant to support the successful opening of new Panas Express outlets by coordinating inventory planning, supplier ordering, and project execution.

Key Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and prepare all product orders required for new outlet openings.
- Prepare opening inventory lists based on approved product assortments, planograms, outlet size, and expected customer demand.
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure products are delivered accurately and on time for new outlet launches.
- Monitor supplier lead times and proactively follow up on pending deliveries to avoid delays in outlet openings.
- Work closely with the Expansion, Purchasing, Warehouse, Operations, Merchandising, and Project teams to ensure every new outlet is fully stocked before opening.
- Conduct site visits to new outlet locations when required to understand the surrounding environment, analyse nearby competitors, customer demographics, and purchasing behaviour, and recommend the most suitable product assortment and opening inventory for each outlet.
- Coordinate promotional products, display materials, and launch stock for new outlet openings where applicable.
- Resolve supplier shortages, delivery discrepancies, and urgent purchasing issues promptly.
- Maintain accurate purchasing records, supplier documentation, and inventory reports.
- Continuously review and improve the new outlet ordering process to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and project execution.

Requirements
- Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
- Experience in purchasing, procurement, retail operations, supply chain, inventory control, merchandising, or administration is an added advantage.
- Strong organisational, planning, and coordination skills.
- Able to manage multiple new outlet opening projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to coordinate effectively with suppliers and internal departments.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and time management skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Self-motivated, responsible, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Willing to travel occasionally, including outstation when required, to visit new outlet locations for market observation and product selection planning.
- Possess a valid driving licence and own transportation.

Monday to Friday: 10:00 AM - 7:00 PM
Saturday: 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM
