Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Search Engine Optimization Specialist based in WP, Kuala Lumpur. The specialist will manage day-to-day SEO activities, including conducting keyword research, performing technical and content-focused SEO audits, and optimizing on-page elements such as meta tags, headings, and internal links. The role includes tracking performance with web analytics tools, preparing SEO reports, and recommending data-driven improvements to increase organic traffic and search visibility. The individual will also execute and monitor link-building initiatives, collaborate with marketing and content teams to align SEO with campaign goals, and stay current on search engine algorithms and best practices.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Keyword Research skills, including identifying high-value search terms and user intent.
- Candidates should possess SEO Audits expertise, covering technical, content, and structural assessments of websites.
- Candidates should possess Link Building experience, including ethical outreach strategies and authority-building tactics.
- Candidates should possess Web Analytics capabilities, using tools such as Google Analytics and Google Search Console to monitor and report on performance.
- Candidates should possess On-Page SEO skills, including optimization of titles, meta descriptions, URL structures, and content formatting.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, IT, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Familiarity with SEO tools (e.g., SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz) and basic understanding of HTML/CSS.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team.
- Experience in financial services or digital products is an advantage.
