Job Description
Responsibilities
- Prepare and review tender documents, quotations, cost estimates, progress claims, variation orders and final accounts for construction projects.
- Take off quantities and prepare bills of quantities based on drawings, specifications and project requirements.
- Monitor project costs, budgets, subcontractor claims, material costs and other construction-related expenses.
- Evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations, prepare cost comparisons and assist in procurement matters.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers and clients on contractual and cost-related matters.
- Assess and process progress claims, payment certificates, variation works and subcontractor payments.
- Maintain proper records of contracts, claims, variation orders, cost reports and supporting documents.
- Support the project team in cost control, budget monitoring and commercial documentation throughout the project.
- Any ad-hoc tasks assigned by superior.
Job Requirements - Degree in Quantity Surveying, Building, ConstructionManagement, Civil Engineering or related field.
- 1–3 years of relevant experience in construction / maincontractor environment will be an advantage.
- Familiar with tender documents, drawings, specifications and construction project requirements.
- Knowledge of PSSCOC contracts will be an advantage.
- Able to work independently, meticulous, analytical and willing to learn.
- Good communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.
