Position: Kitchen Crew
1. Food Preparation & Cooking (SOP Execution)
- Dough & Sauce Preparation: Prepare the main ingredients for the cakoi dough and signature dipping sauces by strictly following company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to maintain consistent flavor and quality.
- Frying & Texture Control: Fry the cakoi to achieve the brand’s signature standard—crispy and golden brown on the outside, soft and fluffy on the inside.
- Portioning & Presentation: Accurately portion dipping sauces, assemble snack boxes, and package items neatly for takeaway, dine-in, or online delivery platforms.
2. Customer Service & Order Management
- Customer Engagement: Greet walk-in customers with a fun, upbeat, and welcoming attitude; answer inquiries and provide recommendations on popular cakoi sets and dipping flavors.
- Cashiering & POS Operation: Handle cash registers or Point of Sale (POS) systems, process payments accurately (cash, QR pay, cards), and manage order queue times during peak rush hours.
- Order Dispatching: Ensure orders are fulfilled quickly and accurately, coordinating smoothly between the frying station and the packing counter.
3. Hygiene, Safety & Station Maintenance
- Cleanliness: Keep the workstation, frying area, prep tables, display counter, and dining space clean, sanitized, and organized throughout the shift.
- Equipment Care: Clean and maintain commercial kitchen equipment (such as deep fryers, mixing equipment, and utensils) at the end of each shift or daily operation.
- Food Safety: Strictly follow personal hygiene guidelines (wearing aprons, caps, gloves) and practice proper food storage and First-In, First-Out (FIFO) ingredient rotation.
4. Inventory & Catering Support
- Stock & Prep Monitoring: Check daily stock levels of flour, oil, packaging materials, and sauce ingredients; notify supervisors when supplies need replenishing.
- Event & Catering Support: Assist in preparing bulk orders, live station setups, and off-site catering services or promotional events when required by the HQ.
Typical Requirements & Attributes
- Experience: Prior F&B or kitchen experience is a plus, but on-the-job training is usually provided.
- Work Schedule: Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and peak hours (part-time and full-time options are typically available depending on the outlet/HQ location).
- Attitude: Requires multitasking abilities, good teamwork, a energetic personality, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
