The Role

We are looking for a Head of Solutions who thinks in systems, communicates with clarity, and carries the technical depth to earn the trust of both engineers and executives.

You will work directly alongside our CTO — as a technical partner internally, and a credible architecture and solutions lead externally. You will help clients assess and transform their enterprise technology landscape, serving as the architecture lead on complex, large-scale transformation programmes spanning applications, integration, data, AI, and security. Internally, you will shape how we build and continuously evolve our solutions practice.

What You'll Do

Solutioning & Architecture

• Serve as subject matter expert across ECM, intelligent document processing, and enterprise data — leading solution design for new engagements, enhancements, and transformation programmes
• Develop and own solution architectures that span application, integration, data, and AI layers — translating complex client requirements into clear, implementable blueprints that resonate at every level of seniority
• Communicate solution and software architecture clearly to delivery and development teams, enabling efficient and high-quality build execution
• Ensure all proposed and delivered solutions adhere to established standards, architectural guidelines, and governance frameworks — serving as a quality checkpoint between solutioning and delivery
• Collaborate with pre-sales in activities including RFP responses, solution presentations, proof-of-concepts, and architecture walkthroughs

Client Engagement & Advisory

• Work directly with clients to assess their current enterprise technology architecture and co-design a transformation roadmap aligned to their business strategy
• Facilitate decision-making with senior client and internal leadership, ensuring IT and business goals remain in tight alignment throughout engagement delivery
• Analyse client feedback and operational data to surface pain points and recommend meaningful improvements to service design and customer experience
• Organise structured, high-quality handovers to delivery teams — including documentation, architecture notes, and knowledge transfer sessions that set implementations up for success

CTO Partnership & Internal Practice

• Act as a strategic extension of the CTO — supporting internal technical direction, solution governance, and capability development
• Contribute to the long-term solution vision and roadmap for Infoconnect's portfolio — helping shape how our ECM, data, and AI offerings evolve to meet market demand
• Act as a change agent within the solutions practice — initiating improvements to how we design, scope, and deliver solutions in order to support business growth, reduce delivery risk, and improve client outcomes
• Drive end-to-end initiative management across multiple workstreams including change requests, service transformation, and new solution development
• Collaborate across business, delivery, and partner teams to resolve technical and service issues, maintaining high standards of solution quality and performance
• Build reusable assets — reference architectures, solution frameworks, engagement templates — that scale knowledge across the organisation

What We're Looking For

• More than 10 years of relevant experience in technology solutioning, solutions architecture, or enterprise technology consulting
• Demonstrated ability to lead architecture on complex IT transformation programmes — with breadth across application, integration, and data architecture at minimum
• Strong grounding in one or more of: ECM / intelligent document processing, data architecture (warehousing, integration, governance), enterprise AI platforms
• Familiarity with agentic AI, RAG pipelines, or AI orchestration is a meaningful advantage
• Exceptional structured thinking and communication — able to translate ambiguous requirements into a clear architecture, and present it with equal confidence to a CTO or a CFO
• Proven ability to produce high-quality solution documentation and conduct effective knowledge transfer to delivery teams
• Comfortable managing multiple priorities, stakeholders, and workstreams simultaneously
• Experience in regulated industries — financial services, insurance, public sector — is preferred
