About the Role

Join our team as an Electrical Supervisor (LEW Grade 7) and take charge of electrical maintenance, switching operations, fault troubleshooting, and regulatory compliance within a critical facilities environment.

Responsibilities

• Support the Site Manager in overseeing the daily operation, inspection, and maintenance of electrical systems and installations.
• Serve as the site's first responder for electrical faults, breakdowns, and operational issues, ensuring prompt rectification and minimal downtime.
• Carry out and supervise planned preventive maintenance (PPM) and corrective maintenance activities in accordance with maintenance schedules and statutory requirements.
• Perform and oversee electrical switching operations, ensuring strict compliance with all safety procedures and regulatory standards.
• Issue and manage Permit-to-Work (PTW) and Clear Area certifications to ensure the safe execution of maintenance and project activities.
• Attend emergency situations and provide standby support when required.
• Ensure compliance with Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) regulations, EMA requirements, and ENGIE's safety policies and procedures.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of maintenance and project works.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, technical documentation, incident reports, and operational logs.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance site reliability, safety performance, and operational efficiency.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

• Possess a valid EMA Licensed Electrical Worker (LEW Grade 7) license issued by the Energy Market Authority (EMA).
• NITEC, Higher NITEC, Diploma, or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering or a related field. Candidates with extensive relevant experience are welcome to apply.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in electrical maintenance, facilities management, building services, or power systems.
• Good knowledge of electrical systems, switching operations, fault troubleshooting, and maintenance practices.
• Familiar with Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) requirements and electrical safety regulations.
• Experience working in commercial buildings, industrial facilities, healthcare environments, airports, data centres, or other critical facilities will be an advantage.
• Able to work independently, respond to emergencies when required, and effectively coordinate with clients, contractors, and internal teams.
• Physically fit and comfortable working in operational environments, including working at heights and confined spaces when required.
