Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Event Executive role based in Petaling Jaya. The Event Executive will assist in planning, coordinating, and executing events from concept to completion, including preparing proposals, managing timelines, and handling logistics. Day-to-day tasks include liaising with clients to understand event requirements, coordinating with vendors and venues, managing event materials, and supporting onsite setup and teardown. The role involves monitoring budgets, preparing event documentation, and ensuring all operational details are addressed for a seamless event experience. The Event Executive will also support post-event evaluation, reporting, and continuous improvement efforts.

Qualifications

• Experience in event planning, coordination, and on-site event management.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple projects.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for working with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
• Problem-solving abilities and adaptability in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments.
• Basic proficiency in office productivity tools (e.g., word processing, spreadsheets, presentation software); familiarity with event management software is an advantage.
• Ability to work on-site in Petaling Jaya, including occasional evenings, weekends, or public holidays as required by event schedules.
• Prior experience in events, marketing, hospitality, or related fields is beneficial.
• Diploma or degree in Events Management, Marketing, Hospitality, Communications, or a related discipline preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
