Responsibilities
Supervise technicians and external contractors to ensure effective execution of engineering and maintenance tasks.
Plan and manage shift schedules, conduct daily briefings, and ensure proper handover between shifts.
Assign, track, and monitor work orders, ensuring timely completion of defects and service requests.
Oversee preventive maintenance programs and routine inspections of Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) systems, equipment, and common areas.
Respond promptly to M&E emergencies, troubleshoot technical issues, and escalate incidents to management when necessary.
Manage inventory of engineering tools, equipment, and spare parts, ensuring proper usage and availability.
Manage and maintain inventory of engineering equipment, tools and spare parts.
Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and service providers to ensure quality and timely delivery of engineering services.
Identify and implement opportunities to improve operational efficiency, reliability, and sustainability, including energy-saving initiatives and adoption of industry best practices.
Ensure compliance with building codes, fire safety regulations, and workplace safety standards.
RequirementsÂ
Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Facility Management, or equivalent qualification.
Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in engineering or facilities management, preferably within hospitality, commercial property, or large-scale building operations.
Strong communication skills to interact with tenants, management, and contractors.
Ability to plan and organise schedules, resources, and work orders.
Willingness and flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
