Kerja Sepenuh Masa, Procurement Lead (Materials Management) di VDL Enabling Technologies Group (Singapore) - Maukerja

Purpose: Lead and manage the MMT Buyers team to ensure the timely, cost-effective, and ethical procurement of materials, components, and services that support production and customer delivery requirements. Drive supplier performance, procurement excellence, risk management, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Area of Responsibilities:

• Lead, coach, and oversee MMT Buyers to achieve procurement and operational KPIs.
• Develop and execute procurement plans to ensure material availability and on-time delivery.
• Monitor purchase orders, supplier commitments, and material shortages to support production schedules.
• Coordinate with Sales, Operations, Warehouse, Quality, and Finance to resolve material-related issues and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Build and maintain strong supplier relationships through performance reviews, scorecards, and strategic initiatives.
• Develop procurement strategies aligned with business goals, supply continuity, and cost optimization.
• Establish policies and mitigation plans for supply risks and critical materials.
• Ensure compliance with ISO standards, company policies, and ethical procurement practices.
• Lead purchasing process improvements and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Act as a buyer when required to support business continuity and delivery commitments.

• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of procurement or supply chain experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proven leadership experience in managing purchasing or procurement teams.
• Strong knowledge of ERP/MRP systems and supplier management.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and establish clear goals and accountabilities to ensure successful implementation of commodity strategies.
• Skills in MS Office, especially Excel knowledge.
• Ability to analyze and make sense out of data / dashboards.
• Must have excellent people, presentation and communication skills.
• Strong analytic and problem-solving skills with a persistent mind-set to solve difficulties.
