Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Scrum Master to support and lead Agile delivery across multiple teams. The Scrum Master will be responsible for facilitating Agile ceremonies, driving team effectiveness, removing impediments, promoting continuous improvement and ensuring successful delivery of business and technology outcomes.

The ideal candidate is a servant leader with strong Agile expertise, excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. Experience within the Energy (O&G) industry is highly desirable. Candidates with a solid technical understanding of modern technology platforms, including databases, APIs, cloud technologies and enterprise applications will have an advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate Scrum Ceremonies: Organize and lead daily stand-ups, sprint planning meetings, sprint reviews, retrospectives and backlog refinement sessions.

• Remove Impediments: Identify and eliminate obstacles that hinder the team’s progress.

• Coach Team Members: Guide the team in Agile practices and principles, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

• Manage Timelines: Ensure that the team meets project deadlines and deliverables.

• Coordinate with Stakeholders: Work closely with Release Train Engineer (RTE) and Product Owner to communicate with stakeholders, align priorities and address risks and dependencies.

• Monitor Performance: Track and report on team performance metrics, such as burndown charts.

• Promote Collaboration: Encourage effective communication and collaboration within the team and with other teams.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Experience: Experience working with globally distributed teams including managing and supporting multiple Scrum teams simultaneously.

• Knowledge: Strong understanding of Scrum techniques and artifacts (e.g., user stories, burndown charts), including understanding of enterprise IT environments.

• Agile Frameworks/Tools: Knowledge of Agile methodologies, including Scrum, Kanban and other Agile practices, with hands-on experience using Agile management tools such as Azure DevOps or similar platforms.

• Technical knowledge: Ability to engage in discussions related to:

• Databases (SQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL, etc.)

• APIs and integration technologies

• Cloud platforms (Microsoft Azure preferred)

• DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines

• Application development lifecycle

• Communication: Excellent communication and servant leadership skills.

• Problem-Solving: Ability to resolve conflicts and remove obstacles effectively.
