This position is responsible for installation, commissioning, and service of marine Electronics. If you qualify for any one or more of the below requirements may apply.

Service Engineer (NAVCOM)

Responsible for repair and maintenance of ship Navigation, Communication system;

Responsible for installation and testing of Navigation / Communication equipment;

Involved in project for installation of marine electronics equipment;

To provide inspection, maintenance, repair services, testing and troubleshooting to our customers.

Carry out daily jobs as assigned/instructed by the Service Manager.

Service Engineer (Automation / Electrical)

Responsible for executing automation / electrical jobs assigned

Knowledge of IT Networking will be an advantage

Qualifications/Skills

• Candidate must possess at least Diploma/Degree in Engineering (Electronic/ Electrical/ IT/Automation) or equivalent.
• PC configuration experience with networking and IT skills preferred.
• Read and interpret schematics and tech drawings and making reports in the field to reflect work that is carried out on-site.
• Knowledge in AutoCAD, preparing installation drawings is considered an added advantage.
• Experience of practical fault-finding on complex equipment, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Fluent in verbal and written English.
• Candidate must be flexible and adaptable to ships’ schedules / jobs
• Self-motivated individual who is able to work effectively on his/her own accord.
• Excellent communication skills to communicate with other parties, including coordinators, agents, crews, captains and superintendents.
• Able to work in difficult conditions, including climbing masts, working safely at height, and working in enclosed spaces, sometimes with difficult access
• Able to work in an offshore/maritime environment.
• Adaptable to process, policy, and other changes as part of a dynamic environment.
• Willing to travel overseas for service jobs when assigned, even on short notice.
• Willing to upgrade skills by going for different training courses or onboard training with another expert engineer as and when deemed fit by the company.
• Qualifying candidates from other states in Malaysia may also apply.
