Degree Holder in Civil Engineering
At least 10 years involve project management, supervision, designing and costing for relevant civil project.
Tanggungjawab
Project Planning and Design:
a) Assist in developing detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
b) Review engineering designs, drawings, and specifications.
c) Ensure all designs comply with relevant codes, regulations, and standards.
d) Define project tasks and resource requirements
e) Prepare and manage project documentation and specifications.
Construction Management:
a) Close monitoring to ensure Consultant closely supervise the construction activities to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
b) Conduct site inspections to monitor progress, ensure adherence to plans, and address any issues that arise.
c) Coordinate with consultants, contractors, subcontractors, and other stakeholders on construction matters,
d) Monitor and supervise Traffic Management Plan (TMP) work to ensure proper implementation of traffic management scheme by the contractor.
e) Review Contractor’s Method Statement, work programme, traffic management plan and test results.
f) Attend weekly, monthly and other progress meetings held at the site as required. Identify constraints and recommend corrective measures.
g) Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and ensure quality controls
h) Ensure all site operations comply with safety regulations and protocols.
Technical Support:
a) Provide technical guidance and support for construction teams.
b) Assist in resolving any technical or engineering challenges that arise during construction.
c) Ensure the structural integrity and safety of all construction works.
d) Ensure that engineering principles and best practices are applied throughout the project
Documentation and Reporting:
a) Maintain comprehensive project records, including contracts, change orders, project correspondence, progress reports and meeting minutes.
b) Prepare and submit regular progress reports to senior management and stakeholders.
c) Ensure all project documentation is up-to-date and accurately filed.
Quality Control and Safety:
a) Implement and enforce quality control measures to ensure high standards of construction.
b) Promote and enforce health and safety protocols on-site to minimize risks and ensure a safe working environment.
c) Prepare quality control guidelines on site supervision team
d) Make frequent site visits to construction sites to access the performance of the site supervision team and contractor’s team.
e) Monitor consultant’s supervision on all testing work to ensure all the tests are carried out as per the requirements, i.e at interval and locations as required.
f) Identify and resolve any issues related to construction defects or non-compliance.
g) Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure adherence to project specifications and standards.
Collaboration and Communication:
a) Coordinate with Client, Consultants, Contractors and other stakeholders to facilitate project execution.
b) Hold regular site meetings to discuss project progress, address issues and update stakeholders
c) Ensure effective communication channels are maintained among all project parties.
Budget and Cost Management
a) Monitor project expenditures and manage project budget effectively.
b) Identify and address potential cost overruns and implement cost-saving measures where possible.
Risk Management
a) Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation plans.
b) Monitor and manage risks throughout the project cycle.
c) Ensure contingency plans are in place for unforeseen events.
