Kerja Sepenuh Masa, Construction Engineer (M&E) di PLUS Malaysia Berhad Johor - Maukerja

Project Planning and Design:
a) Assist in developing detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation for utilities and M&E works.
b) Review engineering designs, drawings, and specifications for utility systems and M&E installations.
c) Ensure all designs comply with relevant building codes, regulations, and standards.
d) Define project tasks and resource requirements
e) Prepare and manage project documentation and specifications related to M&E systems.

Construction Management:
a) Close monitoring to ensure Consultant closely supervises construction activities related to utilities and M&E works to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
b) Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, ensure adherence to plans, and address any issues that arise.
c) Coordinate with consultant, contractors, subcontractors, and other stakeholders on construction matters.
d) Review Contractor’s Method Statement, Work Programme and Test Results.
e) Attend weekly, monthly, and other progress meetings held at the site as requested. Identify constraints and recommend corrective measures.
f) Ensure all site operations comply with safety regulations and protocols.

Technical Support:
a) Provide technical guidance and support to construction teams, particularly for utilities and M&E installations.
b) Assist in resolving any technical or engineering challenges that arise during construction.
c) Ensure the operational integrity and safety of all utility and M&E systems.
d) Ensure that engineering principles and best practices are applied throughout the project.

Documentation and Reporting:
a) Maintain comprehensive project records including contracts, change orders and project correspondence
b) Prepare and submit regular progress reports to senior management and stakeholders.
c) Ensure all project documentation is up-to-date and accurately filed.

Quality Control and Safety:
a) Implement and enforce quality control measures to ensure high standards of construction.
b) Promote and enforce health and safety protocols on-site to minimize risks and ensure a safe working environment.
c) Identify and resolve any issues related to installation defects or non-compliance
d) Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure adherence to project specifications and standards.
e) Monitor consultant’s supervision of all testing works to ensure all the tests are carried out as per the requirements i.e at interval and locations as required.

Collaboration and Communication:
a) Coordinate with Clients, Consultants, Contractors and other stakeholder to facilitate project execution
b) Hold regular site meetings to discuss project progress, address issues, and update stakeholders.
c) Ensure effective communication channels are maintained among all project parties.

Budget and Cost Management
a) Monitor project expenditures and manage project budget effectively
b) Identify and address potential cost overruns and implement cost-saving measures where possible.

Risk management
a) Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation plans.
b) Monitor and manage risks throughout the project lifecycle
c) Ensure contingency plans are in place for unforeseen events.
