Job Scope

  • Lead vendor developer team to produce quality software at high velocity
  • Oversee application design
  • Oversee team code quality and software sustainability
  • Coach team members on technical matters
  • Solve technical problems within the team
  • Guide team tasks prioritization based on alignment with Product Owner / Solution Architects / Lead Developer
  • Pseudo-Scrum Master role to ensure efficient delivery cadence
  • Undertake complex development tasks during the sprint
  • Oversee development team Jira Board tasks

Job Requirement

  • At least more than 5 years of relevant experience Or fulfil assessment / interview expectations and criteria for the level Developer
  • Typically, 2-5 years’ relevant experience Or fulfil assessment / interview expectations and criteria for the level
  • At least 2 successful involvements in project from development phase into production phase Technology
  • Backend Developer: Java Spring boot
  • Frontend Developer: React / React Native / Swift / Kotlin
  • Full Stack Developer (bonus): NodeJS, Golang + FE stacks, Python
  • Platform knowledge (advantage): Apache, JBOSS, Nginx, AWS, Azure Technical requirement
  • Knowledge in Restful API
  • Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such Git and Git Flow
  • Familiarity with modern software design patterns
  • Understands technical debt and SonarQube metrics (code maintainability, cyclometric complexity, code smell etc.)
  • Comfortable with MVC frameworks
  • Familiarity with HTTP protocol (method/response codes), REST/RESTful web services, SOAP Web Services, WSDL, JSON, XML
  • Experience using Git (e.g. Bitbucket, Gogs) and branching management
  • Familiarity to setup and use tooling/pipelines e.g. Jenkins, Ansible, Artifactory. But be prepared also to manually build and prepare packages for manual deployment within strict Banking SDLC process.
  • Note: Application runs on JBOSS on on-premises server
