Role: Solution Architect – Tech Lead

KeyResponsibilities:

·       Lead thedesign for new solutions requested by major IT stakeholders from client side

·       Providesconsultancy and advisory services for system integration, PoC, and impactanalysis

·       Build amethodology for right sizing and ensure infrastructure is not over/underprovisioned while we have the most resilient system set up possible

·       Conduct anin-depth analysis of system performance and identify any potential bottlenecksthat may hinder optimal performance

·       Effectivelyconvey solution designs to diverse teams, and provide hands-on documentation ortraining sessions as necessary

·       Architectend-to-end solutions for core banking transformation, including legacy systemmodernization and cloud migration

·       Design andoversee data lake integration, ensuring efficient data ingestion, processing,and access across platforms

·       Definesolution blueprints, technical standards, and integration patterns aligned withenterprise architecture

·       Collaboratewith stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable technicaldesigns

·       Lead theevaluation and selection of technologies, tools, and platforms formodernization and data integration

·       Ensurecompliance with security, regulatory, and data governance standards

·       Providearchitectural guidance during development, testing, and deployment phases

·       Mentorengineering teams and support solution reviews, performance tuning, and optimization

KeyRequirements:

PreferredEducation:

·       Bachelor’s degree/Master’s degree in Information Technology,Computer Science or equivalent work experience, or combination.

·       A minimum of11 years’ experiencedelivering projects within the financial services industry, including at least12+  years in a dedicated solutionsarchitect role.

·       Demonstratedability to design scalable, secure, and resilient integration architectures incomplex enterprise environments.

·       Ensure allproposed solutions are in alignment with the client’s enterprise architecture standardsand technology strategy.

·       Provenexperience in transforming core banking systems

·       Strongunderstanding of data lake architectures (e.g., Azure Data Lake, AWS LakeFormation, GCP BigLake)

·       Expertise inAPI design, microservices architecture, and event-driven systems

·       Familiaritywith banking domains such as payments, customer onboarding, loans, andcompliance

·       Knowledge ofdata governance, security protocols, and regulatory frameworks (e.g., MAS,GDPR, PCI-DSS)

·       Excellentcommunication and stakeholder management skills

·       A deeptechnical understanding required to source infra resources ranging fromon-premises to cloud. Should be familiar with architect best practices but alsobe flexible to adapt to the team’s establishedpractices and environment.

·       Goodunderstanding of concurrent software systems and building them in a way that isscalable, maintainable, and robust.

·       Experience infacilitating workshops, eliciting key business requirements, and managingstakeholder relationships across all phases of the project.

·       Strongfunctional knowledge in payments or cash management.

·       Well-versed inend-to-end system development and project delivery specific to the bankingsector.

·       Expertise inintegration technologies such as REST/SOAP APIs, MQ, ESB and any of themiddleware platforms (e.g.: Boomi, Mulesoft, IBM Integration Bus).

·       Strongknowledge of data standards and protocols (XML, JASON, ISO 20022, SWIFT) andregulatory compliance.

·       Subject matterexpert of common java web frameworks.
