Tanggungjawab

  • Plans and lays out work from blueprints, drawings, models, or verbal instructions using a variety of carpenters hand tools, portable power tools, and standard measuring instruments, makes
  • standard shop computations relating to dimensions of work, and selects materials necessary for the work
  • Ensures and delivers an adequate supply of tools, equipment, and materials needed to complete jobs are at work sites as required
  • Uses hand and power tools to measure, cut, and shape wood, drywall, and related materials to specification
  • Uses hand and power tools to fabricate, install and repair solid surface materials (countertops, partitions and wall surfaces)
  • Joins materials with nails, screws, staples, or adhesives
  • Ensures adequate supplies of tools, equipment, and materials needed to complete jobs are at work sites as required
  • Repairs and perform minor furniture repair
  • Assist experienced carpenters in the construction, installation, and repair of structures and fixtures made from wood and other materials.
  • Learn to read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and building plans to understand project requirements.
  • Help in measuring, cutting, and shaping wood and other materials according to specifications.
  • Support in maintaining tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good working order.
  • Participate in job site safety practices and adhere to all safety regulations.
  • Engage in hands-on training and skill development through on-the-job learning and mentorship from skilled carpenters.
