Job Description:
- Provide assistant to general operational ocean freight functions.
- General correspondences with suppliers, agents, and other inter-department for ocean freight movements.
- Monitor and coordinate export & import ocean freight movements.
- Prepare documentations for customer.
- Coordinate supplier invoices.
- Maintain records and filing as per ISO requirements and standards.
- Respond to internal enquiries and complaints and coordinate with other department on ocean freight needs.
- Liaising with supplier – shipping line, agent, warehouse, and transporter for ocean freight movements.
- Monitor internal data & system compliance.
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Logistics / Supply Chain Management or any related field.
- Knowledge of freight forwarding, logistics, or shipping operations is an added advantage.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
