AI Engineer / Algorithmic Mathematician

Job Description:

• Candidate will utilize advanced mathematical techniques such as wavelet processing, and sampling mathematics, to implement advanced AI systems capable of real time processing of information and recognition of patters.

Applications include:

• resource extraction monitoring and communications
• biometric systems
• audio processing (KWS through RTT)
• image processing (from small IoT sensors through large imagers)
• large language model processing of various types

Models include:

• transformer based associative and LLM systems from Agentic through program generation
• RESNET
• Yolo
• MobileNet
• extensions to DeepSeek, GLM5.2 and other emerging platforms

Desired Skills and Expertise:

• Algorithm developers with experience in adaptive systems/machine learning and pattern recognition including application of neural networks, wavelets, and related similar mathematical methods.
• Ideal candidates will be experienced in AI development using Python and popular interfaces such as TensorFlow, TFLM, RTLite, Pytorch, JAX, Keras, etc.
• Developments will also focus on proprietary silicon and custom in-house environments.
• Candidates should be comfortable in the z-domain and s-domain with knowledge of filters, control systems, and STC.
• Experience implementing micro-controller based mathematical systems, such as ARM Cortex Mx or similar platforms is a plus.
• M.A.Sc or Ph.D. required in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Mathematics or Computer Science.
