Role Overview

We are seeking a Robotics Engineer to design, develop, and maintain Neptune’s underwater robotic systems. This role requires strong skills across mechanical, electrical, and software engineering to ensure our robots operate safely and efficiently in complex maritime environments.

Responsibilities

Robotics Design & Development

• Contribute to the design, assembly, and testing of underwater robotic systems.
• Optimize mechanical structures, electrical systems, and control algorithms.
• Develop and maintain robot operation software and interfaces.

Field Support & Operations

• Deploy robots in vessel and port environments to execute cleaning and inspection missions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during operations.
• Provide technical support and training to ensure operators are proficient with Neptune systems.

Quality & Safety

• Ensure robots comply with international maritime safety standards.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, manuals, and maintenance guides.
• Participate in risk assessments and safety testing.

Continuous Improvement & Innovation

• Research and apply new technologies (AI, sensors, automation control).
• Propose improvements to enhance robot performance and reliability.
• Support Neptune’s commitment to sustainability and innovation in maritime robotics.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Robotics, or related field).
• 2–5 years of experience in robotics development or marine engineering.
• Familiarity with ROV systems, underwater sensors, and automation control.
• Proficiency in CAD, MATLAB, Python, or C++ tools.
• Strong problem-solving, teamwork, and communication skills.
