Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical / Automation / Electronics / Mechatronics Engineering.
  • Hands-on programming and debugging of PLCs, HMI and Microsoft C#. Preferable OMRON PLCs.
  • Equipment / Machinery Electrical Design & Troubleshooting. Use of Autocad.
  • Engineering and Design project management skills.
  • Independent, Strong Leadership and Interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and documentation processes.
  • Minimum 3 years relevant working experience in automation industries, PLC and HMI programming.
  • Troubleshooting skills in electronics and electrical system.
  • Knowledge of Industrial Standards relevant to Electrical / Control Design of semiconductors’ equipment.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, work on time critical tasks.
  • Extensive experience in developing, deploying, integrating devices and familiar with communication protocols - EIPs, Ethercat, RS485, DeviceNet, CanBus, Mobus TCP/IP etc.

Responsibilities

  • To provide automation and software engineering design support.
  • To translate customers’ specification into software & electrical specifications.
  • To develop control and user-interface programs for new automated equipment.
  • To design and select suitable control devices to meet machine’s specification.
  • Design of electrical schematics and prepare electrical BOM.
  • To involve in software development / modification to meet customers’ specification.
  • To involve in machine setup and commissioning locally, remotely and internationally.
  • To conduct operation training of equipment and proper documentation.
  • To work closely with designers and customer service team in providing fast responses to customers’ issues and support on our equipment.
  • To support EMS Projects in terms of electrical wiring, troubleshooting or software installation.
  • Issue BOM for purchase of Control and Electrical Items.
  • Liaise with customer for matter related to software, electrical or control.
  • Write Access the EMS Project folder for designer handling EMS Project.
  • Write Access the OEM Project folder for project related documentation and release of BOM and Electrical Drawing to DCC.
