Full Time Senior General Ledger Executive Jobs, Salary up to MYR 6,000 in Retail Clothing Company Selangor - Maukerja

Role Summary:

The Senior GL Executive will be responsible for leading the general ledger function, ensuring the integrity of financial records, managing monthly and year-end closings, and supporting audits. This role plays a critical part in maintaining robust internal controls and driving continuous improvements in financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

* Oversee day-to-day GL accounting operations, including journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations

* Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes

* Ensure compliance with IFRS and local statutory regulations

* Lead internal and external audit processes, including preparation of audit schedules

* Collaborate with Tax, AP, AR, and external advisors as needed

* Identify and implement process improvements and automation initiatives

* Supervise and mentor juniors

Requirements:

* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA, CA, or equivalent preferred)

* 8+ years of progressive experience in accounting, with at least 3 years in a senior GL role

* Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial close processes, and internal controls

* Proven ability to manage audits and compliance processes

* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

* Ability to lead and influence across teams and levels
