Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Account Executive with a strong background in the Food & Beverage (F&B) industry. The ideal candidate should possess solid accounting knowledge, leadership experience, and the ability to manage daily financial operations while supporting management in achieving the company's financial objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Review finance-related emails and respond to customer payment and invoicing enquiries.
- Verify customer event details, billing information, pricing, tax calculations, and supporting documents before invoice generation.
- Convert approved quotations into customer invoices using the accounting system. Record and update customer payments, including bank transfers, cheques, and credit card transactions in Xero.
- Monitor customer accounts and follow up on outstanding payments.
- Maintain accurate Accounts Receivable records and ageing reports.
- Reconcile customer payments and ensure all receipts are properly allocated.
Accounts Payable (AP)
- Process supplier invoices, bills, and direct payments accurately and within the approved payment terms.
- Verify invoices and supporting documents before payment processing.
- Prepare Payment Vouchers (PV) and obtain the necessary approvals.
- Process supplier payments and issue remittance advice.
- Update payment records and maintain complete Accounts Payable documentation.
- Reconcile supplier statements and resolve any discrepancies.
- Ensure accurate recording of all Accounts Payable transactions in Xero.
Job Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of accounting experience, preferably in the F&B or hospitality industry.
- Experience in handling a full set of accounts and financial reporting.
- Leadership or supervisory experience with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
- Strong management and problem-solving skills.
- Good understanding of Malaysian accounting standards, SST, and statutory compliance.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills.
- Able to work independently and under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience managing finance operations in a restaurant, catering, or central kitchen environment.
- Knowledge of inventory costing, food cost control, and procurement processes.
- Experience working with ERP or accounting systems such as SQL, AutoCount, or similar software.

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
