JOB OVERVIEW

Lead the maintenance department in planning, scheduling, and executing mechanical, electrical, and structural repairs across the site and its fleet to prevent operational downtime.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Team Leadership: Assign, supervise, and review the daily repair and maintenance duties of technicians and assistant maintainers.
  • Preventative Programs: Design and execute scheduled preventative maintenance plans for vehicles, heavy machinery, and plant assets.
  • Advanced Troubleshooting: Diagnose complex mechanical failures, hydraulic faults, and electrical system failures.
  • Inventory Control: Manage the spare parts warehouse, verify stock levels, and source cost-effective components.
  • Vendor Management: Coordinate with external specialized contractors for complex overhauls and equipment calibrations.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Education: Diploma or Degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical vocational certificate.
  • Experience: 5+ years of maintenance experience in heavy industry, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Technical Skills: Advanced reading of hydraulic/electrical schematics, welding, and engine overhaul knowledge.
  • Attributes: Strong leadership qualities, analytical mindset, and excellent time management skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM3,500.00 per month

Work Location: In person
