Purchaser / Admin Assistant
Salary range – S$3,000.00 to S$3,500.00
Job Description – Purchaser / Admin Assistant
Responsibilities
- To enquire on quotations for material orders requested by site teams
- To prepare comparisons of quotations for materials across multiple suppliers in a neat manner
- To prepare and submit Purchase Orders to suppliers to confirm orders
- To take inventory of materials / equipment delivered to various sites
- To engage in transport related services (E.g. Booking of lorry or lorry cranes) as and when requested by the site team
- To work closely with the General Manager and the site team for proper coordination of material orders
- To assist in answering business related calls in office
- To assist the General Manager in preparing Minutes-of-Meeting for in-office internal discussions
- To assist the General Manager in general documentation and filing
- Any other ad hoc duties assigned by the General Manager or the Managing Director
Requirements
- Minimum Diploma in any field
- Candidates of all experience levels are welcome
- Familiar with Microsoft Office (Word & Excel in particular)
- Must have good interpersonal / social skills to communicate and negotiate with suppliers
