Job Summary

We are looking for a dedicated Commis Chef to support the kitchen team in preparing high-quality meals while maintaining food safety, hygiene, and kitchen standards.

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook food according to recipes and quality standards.
• Assist the Sous Chef and kitchen team with daily food preparation and operations.
• Ensure proper food handling, storage, and hygiene practices at all times.
• Monitor the quality of ingredients and prepared dishes.
• Operate and maintain kitchen equipment safely and report any faults.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work area.
• Support stock preparation and other kitchen duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum 1–2 years of kitchen or food preparation experience.
• Good cooking skills and knowledge of food preparation techniques.
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
• Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Team player with a positive attitude.

Qualifications

• SPM, Certificate, or Diploma in Culinary Arts, Hospitality, or a related field is an added advantage.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
