Quality Engineer 

Job Summary

• Develop and implement quality standards, procedures, and specifications

• Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with quality requirements

• Conduct inspections, audits, and testing of products and processes

• Identify defects, root causes, and recommend corrective and preventive actions

• Analyze quality data and prepare reports for management

• Collaborate with production, design, and supply chain teams to improve product quality

• Ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., ISO, Six Sigma, regulatory requirements)

• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to reduce defects and waste

• Participate in supplier quality evaluations and audits

• Provide training on quality standards and tools to team members 

Reporting Structure

This position reports to the Snr Quality & Safety Engineer. 

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, or related field)

• Proven experience in quality engineering or quality assurance

• Knowledge of quality tools such as Six Sigma, Lean, FMEA, SPC, and root cause analysis

• Applicants from the automotive industry are encouraged to apply.

• Familiarity with quality management systems (ISO 9001, etc.)

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

• Proficient in English and Bahasa. • Good organization, communication, and general inter-personal skills.
