Our member company is seeking a meticulous and motivated Retail Associate to join the team In this role, you will play a critical part in providing exceptional customer service by promoting tea products, delivering expert product knowledge, managing sales transactions, supporting store operations and visual merchandising, collaborating with the team, and ensuring compliance with company standards and procedures.

Job Responsibilities

Customer Engagement

• Greet every customer with a warm welcome and provide an exceptional, personalised shopping experience.
• Proactively share your knowledge of our tea blends and accessories to confidently recommend products and meet store targets.

Product Expertise

• Become an expert on our teas, from our classic favorites to new seasonal blends.
• You will be a go-to resource for customers, helping them understand our "farm-to-cup" philosophy and the art of brewing.

Store Operations & Visual Merchandising

• Maintain the store's pristine appearance and inviting atmosphere. This includes keeping displays organised, assisting with inventory, and ensuring our products are showcased beautifully.

Point-of-Sales Transactions

• Handle all sales, returns, and payment processes with accuracy and efficiency, ensuring a smooth checkout experience for every customer.

Team Collaboration

• Work closely with the team to ensure the store runs smoothly every day. Your energy and positive attitude will be key to a dynamic and collaborative workplace.
• Compliance: Uphold all company standards and policies, from sales procedures to safety protocols.

Job Requirements

• A highly driven, positive, and outgoing attitude with a passion for tea.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• A minimum of one (1) year of experience in a premium retail environment. Specialty tea or coffee experience is a plus.
• Ability to multitask and thrive in a busy store.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
