As a Senior Analyst Programmer, you will play a key role in analysing business requirements, designing scalable software solutions, and developing high-quality web applications. Working closely with internal stakeholders, you will transform business ideas into reliable, scalable, and user-friendly systems.

This role is ideal for an experienced developer who enjoys both software development and system analysis, and wants to build products that solve real business challenges.

Key Responsibilities

System Analysis & Solution Design

• Analyse business requirements and translate them into practical technical solutions
• Design scalable system architecture, database structures, and application workflows
• Prepare technical specifications and development documentation
• Recommend system improvements to enhance performance, usability, and scalability
• Participate in requirement discussions with internal stakeholders to recommend effective system solutions

Software Development

• Develop and maintain web applications using Next.js and NestJS
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs
• Develop new modules and system features
• Maintain and enhance existing PHP modules when required

System Performance

• Optimise application performance and database queries
• Troubleshoot production issues and implement effective solutions
• Perform root cause analysis and implement preventive improvements

Project Delivery

• Estimate development effort and implementation timelines
• Collaborate closely with Product, QA, and Support teams
• Deliver reliable, maintainable, and high-quality software on schedule

Job Requirements

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
• Minimum 4 years of professional software development experience

Technical Skills

• Hands-on experience with Next.js
• Hands-on experience with NestJS
• Working knowledge of PHP
• Experience with MySQL database design and optimisation
• Good understanding of system architecture and application design
• Experience developing ERP, POS, Accounting, SaaS, or other business applications is an advantage
