Job Outline:

Perform costing and financial analysis activities to provide accurate, timely and relevant costing information to support management reporting and decision-making. The role involves analysing business unit performance, product costing, budgeting, SAP costing activities, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Prepare, review and analyse monthly Business Unit Income Statements to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
2. Maintain SAP distribution cycles and support SAP-related costing activities.
3. Assist in budget preparation, monitoring and analysis for Business Unit performance.
4. Verify the accuracy and completeness of Business Unit Income Statements and related reports.
5. Prepare and analyse sales, operating expenses and profitability reports.
6. Analyse cost of sales and investigate cost variances impacting business performance.
7. Compute product costs and evaluate cost impacts.
8. Create, update and maintain Bills of Material (BOM), recipes, resources and production versions in SAP.
9. Prepare trend analyses and reports related to productivity, operational efficiency and profitability.
10. Support cost reduction, cost optimisation and continuous improvement initiatives.
11. Support system automation and process enhancement projects.
12. Participate in year-end stock take activities.
13. Prepare management reports, presentations and recommendations to support decision-making.
14. Perform any ad-hoc assignments as required.
15. Support compliance with applicable ISO standards, procedures and continuous improvement initiatives.

Minimum Requirements:

1. Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field is preferred.
2. Experience in Business Unit analysis, costing or data analysis is an advantage.
3. Knowledge of SAP is an added advantage.
4. Knowledge of costing, Power BI and pricing evaluation is preferred.
5. Meticulous with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
6. Good communication skills and ability to work independently.
