Key Responsibilities

• Conduct geological field mapping, rock, soil, and stream sediment sampling, and collect accurate geological data to support exploration programmes.
• Perform geological logging of RC, Diamond Drill (DD), and Aircore drill chips and core in accordance with Company standards and QA/QC procedures.
• Coordinate sample preparation, lab submissions, and maintain proper sample chain-of-custody documentation.
• Assist in planning and executing geochemical, geophysical, and drilling programmes, including ground-truthing and target verification.
• Capture, validate, and maintain geological, drilling, and assay data within the Company's exploration database.
• Prepare geological maps, cross-sections, plans, and contribute to geological interpretations and target generation.
• Monitor and implement QA/QC procedures for sampling and assay results, ensuring data integrity and reliability.
• Prepare daily field reports, drilling progress updates, technical summaries, and contribute to exploration reports and presentations.
• Monitor exploration equipment, consumables, and field inventory while ensuring proper maintenance of field records and documentation.
• Ensure full compliance with the Company's Health, Safety, Environment (HSE) policies, mining regulations, and environmental standards, while actively participating in safety meetings, risk assessments, and field inductions.
• Collaborate closely with geologists, drilling contractors, surveyors, laboratory personnel, and other project stakeholders to achieve exploration objectives.
• Perform any other exploration, geological, or technical duties assigned by the Chief Geologist or Exploration Manager.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Geology, Applied Geology, Earth Sciences, or a related discipline.
• Minimum three (3) years of relevant working experience in mineral exploration within the mining industry.
• Hands-on experience in RC, Diamond Drill (DD), and Aircore drilling programmes, geological logging, and sampling techniques.
• Knowledge of geological mapping, structural geology, mineralisation models, and exploration methodologies.
• Familiarity with geological database management and GIS/modelling software (e.g., Leapfrog, Micromine, ArcGIS, QGIS, or similar) is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of QA/QC procedures for exploration sampling and assay data management.
• Willing and able to work on a roster basis at remote mining and exploration sites.
• Possess good analytical, communication, and report-writing skills.
• Physically fit and able to work in challenging field conditions.
• Valid driving licence and willingness to travel as required.

Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM7,000.00 per month
