Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Electrical Engineer to design, supervise, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical systems for industrial, commercial, or construction projects. The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of relevant experience and possess a Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and review electrical systems, layouts, and technical drawings.
• Supervise electrical installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance activities.
• Ensure all electrical work complies with local regulations, safety standards, and project specifications.
• Prepare electrical calculations, load schedules, and material take-offs.
• Troubleshoot electrical faults and recommend corrective actions.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and project teams.
• Review shop drawings and as-built drawings.
• Monitor project progress and ensure completion within schedule and budget.
• Prepare technical reports, inspection reports, and documentation.
• Conduct site inspections and quality assurance checks.
• Assist in procurement and evaluation of electrical equipment and materials.
• Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in electrical engineering, construction, industrial, or MEP projects.
• Knowledge of electrical design standards, codes, and regulations.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
• Familiarity with electrical testing and commissioning procedures.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work independently and under pressure.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in commercial, industrial, or infrastructure projects.
• Knowledge of power distribution systems, transformers, switchgear, MCCs, and LV/MV systems.
• Familiarity with electrical software such as AutoCAD Electrical, ETAP, or EPLAN is an advantage.
• Experience in project planning and site supervision.
• Understanding of preventive and corrective maintenance practices.

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM7,595.39 per month
