Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Electrical Engineer to design, supervise, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical systems for industrial, commercial, or construction projects. The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of relevant experience and possess a Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and review electrical systems, layouts, and technical drawings.
- Supervise electrical installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance activities.
- Ensure all electrical work complies with local regulations, safety standards, and project specifications.
- Prepare electrical calculations, load schedules, and material take-offs.
- Troubleshoot electrical faults and recommend corrective actions.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and project teams.
- Review shop drawings and as-built drawings.
- Monitor project progress and ensure completion within schedule and budget.
- Prepare technical reports, inspection reports, and documentation.
- Conduct site inspections and quality assurance checks.
- Assist in procurement and evaluation of electrical equipment and materials.
- Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in electrical engineering, construction, industrial, or MEP projects.
- Knowledge of electrical design standards, codes, and regulations.
- Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
- Familiarity with electrical testing and commissioning procedures.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work independently and under pressure.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in commercial, industrial, or infrastructure projects.
- Knowledge of power distribution systems, transformers, switchgear, MCCs, and LV/MV systems.
- Familiarity with electrical software such as AutoCAD Electrical, ETAP, or EPLAN is an advantage.
- Experience in project planning and site supervision.
- Understanding of preventive and corrective maintenance practices.
Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM7,595.39 per month
