About the Role

We are looking for a Data & Strategy Executive who is passionate about using data to uncover business opportunities, solve complex challenges, and drive smarter decision-making.

This role goes beyond traditional reporting. You will analyse business data, identify growth opportunities, improve operational efficiency, and translate insights into practical strategies that create business impact. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Operations, Product, Finance, and Technology to support data-driven initiatives and improve overall business performance.

Key Responsibilities

Drive Business Insights Through Data

• Analyse business performance data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
• Translate complex data findings into clear insights and recommendations for business stakeholders.
• Support decision-making by providing data-driven analysis on customer behaviour, revenue performance, operational efficiency, and business trends.

Identify Growth & Optimisation Opportunities

• Analyse customer journeys, conversion performance, pricing, operational costs, and business processes to uncover improvement opportunities.
• Conduct root-cause analysis to identify challenges and recommend practical solutions.
• Support initiatives that improve revenue growth, customer experience, and operational performance.

Develop Reports & Data Visualisation

• Build and maintain dashboards and reports to provide visibility into key business metrics.
• Transform raw data into meaningful insights that teams can use for daily decision-making.
• Improve reporting processes through automation and better data accessibility.

Support Business Experiments & Analytics

• Assist in designing and analysing business experiments such as A/B testing and performance evaluations.
• Measure the impact of business initiatives and provide recommendations based on data findings.
• Develop frameworks to track and evaluate business performance.

Improve Data Quality & Processes

• Monitor data accuracy and identify gaps or inconsistencies across business systems.
• Collaborate with BI, Engineering, and business teams to improve data structures and reporting processes.
• Automate repetitive data tasks and improve workflow efficiency across reporting tools and platforms.

Collaborate & Enable Data-Driven Culture

• Partner with different departments to understand business needs and provide analytical support.
• Support teams in understanding and using data effectively for decision-making.
• Act as a bridge between business users and technical teams to ensure data solutions meet business requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related fields.
• 2–5 years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, strategy analytics, or similar roles.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data.
• Proficiency in SQL and experience working with data extraction and analysis.
• Experience with data visualisation tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker Studio, or similar platforms.
• Strong Excel / Google Sheets skills with experience in data analysis and automation.
• Ability to communicate insights clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience in e-commerce, digital business, customer analytics, or operations analytics is an advantage.

Pay: RM4,500.00 - RM5,500.00 per month
